FATMA WANDIA

Partner and Head of production at Fat Rain Films Ltd Nairobi. With over 15 years of experience in the Film industry, Fatma started in production accounting and gradually moved to line producing where she has had a hand in some of Kenya’s biggest local productions and international productions including Netflix series (sense 8), Endemol SA formats, Rapid Blue SA formats on shows like (East Africa got talent, Tusker and MTN project fame in Kenya and Nigeria), strictly come dancing, Bono U2 RED project with Starbucks UK, Gates foundation, Nike, Safaricom, Coca cola amongst others.

She has also produced and coordinated over 100 commercials and projects in over 40 countries in Africa, recently worked in South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, DRC Congo and Rwanda working with agencies like the Village creative group, Ogilvy, WPP Scanad, Isobar Kenya and BBDO.

She is currently the treasurer of the Producers Guild of Kenya and a member of the Kenya Oscars Selection Committee.
