WILLY BIONDANIWilly Biondani began his career as a photographer. He had works published in prestigious magazines, while living for six years in Paris, such as the British magazine i-D, the German one Wiener, and French magazines Votre Beauté and Marie Claire. As a photographer, he also had his works exhibited in galleries and expositions such as Roma Biennial, Pirelli / MASP collection, La Gitane exposition, Arte / Cidade project, 1st International Biennial of Photography and an exhibition at the Museum Ludwig. In advertising, he received awards at Art Directors, Clio, Cannes and CCSP.
As a director, he directed a number of short films and TV movies, especially the films “Nocaute” and “Noite brancas em um sábado de glória” (White Nights on a Saturday of Glory). He directed a TV adaptation of the award-winning classic book Grande Sertão Veredas, by Guimarães Rosa – “Diadorim & Riobaldo”. The symbolism of images has a central place in the narrative, in all his works. His first feature film is “Além do Homem” (Beyond Man).
