Roanna is in the advertising industry because she believes that through creativity, we can change the world. She lives to inspire her creative team every day by doing what we think we can’t. This year, as Executive Creative Director of Joe Public United, South Africa’s largest independent advertising group, she achieved the accolade of South Africa’s top creative woman. She also played an integral part of her agency winning South Africa’s top creative Agency of the Year.
She has 22 years’ experience, has been on The Loeries judging panel for the past six years, was a Cannes Lions remote Direct judge in 2017, and has recently been appointed onto the board of the Creative Circle Exco. She is also the creative director, curator, co-editor, designer and publisher of Migrate, the official magazine of the Loeries.
She is inspired by being a woman in today’s world and is very passionate about the participation, growth and advancement of women in the advertising industry Where possible, she aims to use creativity to action change.
